Led by Corentin Spriet — Salle du Conseil (Boardroom)

CNRS researcher Corentin Spriet combines expertise in physics and health biology, fields in which he holds a PhD and a habilitation to supervise research (HDR), respectively. As a CNRS research engineer and head of the BICeL-PCS platform within the Plateformes Lilloises en Biologie et Santé, he leads cutting-edge biophonics projects, ranging from experimental design to imaging software development. His scientific excellence is reflected in his numerous publications (around one hundred scientific publications) and in his award of the CNRS Crystal Medal in 2020. Alongside his research activities, he has been actively involved for many years in science outreach initiatives, both through major national events such as the Fête de la Science – for which he served as an ambassador in 2018, and through the creation and coordination of original projects such as “A Cellular Adventure for an Inclusive and Inventive School”, which received the first prize for pedagogical innovation from the French Ministry of Education in 2021. Finally, he develops a research axis at the crossroads of arts, sciences, and science communication, notably through the PRIST programme and artist residencies in laboratories. This complements his strong profile, oriented toward knowledge sharing and societal innovation.

Speaker : Anne Pellichero
